FEATHER STROKE BROWS

Eyebrows are extremely important in giving your face character and expression, whilst framing and accentuating your eyes. If your brows have been over plucked, if they are patchy, or basically non-existent, or you’re just tired of drawing them on every day, cosmetic tattoo for your brows is the perfect solution.

Featherstroke eyebrow tattooing, also known as “brow feathering” or “microblading”, is the latest hair-simulation technique for beautifully natural-looking eyebrows. Brow feathering creates a gentle ‘feathered’ effect and looks completely natural because it mimics the real eyebrow hair, and can be individually customised depending on the client. Feathering uses a hand tool with fine needles to apply fine strokes into the skin. A micro pigment is then applied, filling the strokes with colour and creating the appearance of fine hairs. Brows can be subtly coloured or completely remodelled as each new strand is intricately etched and coloured by hand.

Brow feathering requires two appointments, one for the initial service, and one 4 weeks later to fill in any drop out, or unevenness (this is bound to happen). Brow feathering is essentially a tattoo, and there are risks involved, so clients need to be fully informed before commencing the service, and they need to sign an agreement and release form to be able to undertake the service. Clients must be of legal age (over 18) to be able to consent to the service.

We recommend touching up your brows at least once every twelve months after the initial appointment, it is a requirement of Knockout Brows that clients are informed of this prior to the initial appointment, also.
